Max lay awake all night just flipping out. She hadnt become accustomed to tight confined spaces but this is all they had. She squirmed uneasily on the hard rock floor fearing the worst for her and her flock. They had gone three days without any food and they were all sick with exaustion. While watching her flock max felt the sudden need to sweep fang up and kiss him on his lips. Her love for him was overbearing and she wished he felt the same. When Iggy suddenly sat up and looked around maxs head turned so fast she felt the vein in the back of her head stop for a split second. What is it? Max asked,her words dry and cracked. Train iggy mumbled and sure enough a few seconds later a huge train came wooshing bye. Max looked at her flock and watched each one awake with a start and turn to see what was up. Couldent we sleep in a place other than the dark side of train tracks? iggy mumbled well at least now that were up… max mumbled but fang held up his hand. What is it? Max snapped at his sarcastic school joke. Ugh the school event he mention of it was enough to get maxes veins on edge all her nerves alert. All the painfull memories flooded back in her head. Well I am starving and unless you want dead flock members I suggest you take us to a mcdonalds! Fang huffed. Well obviously if you would let me finish a sentence maybe I could tell you that! Max hissed. Well no need to get all in a bunch max fang grumbled and turn his head away. Max why are you being so mean? A voice whispered in maxes head. Angel? Max concentrated. Yeah you new it was me why are you being so mean? Angel asked. Oh sweetie I am sorry I am tired and hungry and being on the run is sad. Max felt the tears come to her eyes. But you have no reason to be mean to us we are your family and you are treatin us bad! Angel cried and max could see a sad face in her head. Well we are about two days from virginia don’t you worry sweetie we wioll get there soon and you can see ella and my mom again. Max whispered to angel. Oh I just wanted to tell you fang has some strong feelings from you and his lust is making me feel weird. Angel giggled. Sweetie? Where did you here the word lust from? Max growled. Oh I heard it in fangs mind! Angel giggeled again oh well I don’t think you should go around saying that. Max opened her eyes to find four pairs of eyes staring at her. What I was thinking hard max said and turned away. When she jumped out in front of a train the whole flock gasped. But she just flew up and out of the tunnel. Max turned her head when she heard wings flapping behind her. yep you guessed it fang. Fang angeled his wings slightly so the sun would hit them at an angle that would make them shine. Just the way max liked it. It sent a shiver down her spine. There were those incredibly overwhelming feelings again. Fang followed me for about eight miles down the coast over towards the beach near our cave. Finnaly I couldent take it I closed my wings and dive bombed into a tunnel almost hidden in the looming rocks.
